About Jeanette
-
Jeanette was raised in a small town in northern utah where natural beauty is part of the seasonal landscapes. She enrolled in gymnastics and dancing in her elementary years and designed many of her own outfits. Her eye and passion for design soon became appearant when she started decorating her parent's home with unique wallpaper and accessories. Family visitors became impressed with Jeanette's sense of style and began inviting her over for design tips on their own homes.

The time came when Jeanette started building and accessorizing her first home. Contractors were impressed with the initial design work performed on the home and told her she should go into interior design due to her obvious natural talent and skills. Jeanette took the advice to heart and started a career in design, growing clientele slowly in the northern utah area. She eventually graduated from Bridgerland Technology College with a focus in interior design to build upon her already impressive eye for design.

She was hired on thereafter with the Room Loft in Utah for two years as the main designer and designed the model home for the Brigham City parade of homes.

Later as an independent contractor, Jeanette was asked to participate at a Las Vegas furniture sales and design expo as a rep for Coaster Furniture. It was at this show where she was approached by the owner of Tomorrow's Antiques and was offered a position as their new show room floor designer. She accepted and worked with Tomorrow's Antiques in Salt Lake City successfully for more than two years. Jeanette was critically involved in designing the Salt Lake Parade of Homes in 2006 and as a result received 1st Place for Best Interior Design in conjunction with Tomorrow's Antiques.

She has recently joined forces with Chalice Design, a local Salt Lake design firm, that allows her to expose her work exclusively on the company's web site. Chalice Design owner Rene Munoz notes "We are impressed with her ability to take creative ideas to full fruition successfully. I am delighted to bring her craft to the public in a more direct way for all to see. I'm surprised no one has ever approached Jeanette with an online solution because of her high-level sense of style and creativity. We are absolutely thrilled to showcase her work here at Chalice."

Jeanette continues to follow her passion as a designer in home and commercial projects throughout the northern Utah area.
